The Commodore serial cable

Description

The Commodore serial cable connects Commodore drives to Commodore machines. It's compatible with all Commodore machines and with all Commodore drives and clones that have the usual serial bus port.

Hardware requirements

You need the following hardware to make use of this cable:
  • A Commodore 64 or 128 machine, or any other Commodore machine or clone that has the usual serial bus port
  • A Commodore 1541, 1570, 1571, 1581 drive, or any other Commodore drive or clone that has the usual serial bus port

Usage

Connect the two serial plugs into the serial ports on your Commodore drive and your Commodore machine.
